    Nuchal Translucency Scan

A special prenatal scan to help identify high risk chromosomal abnormalities such as Down Syndrome.
The scan assesses the amount of fluid behind the neck of the fetus, referred to as “Nuchal Translucency”. Those foetuses with a higher amount of fluid are at greater risk.
